What your poop can tell you about losing weight fast…

There are a lot of different characteristics about your feces that can tell you about your diet. But for today, we're going to a deep dive into what the color of your poo is telling you about your diet.
Poop can come in all different colors
Let's start with good old brown.
The usual poo brown is a byproduct of the bacteria in our colon digesting bile and red blood cells. Generally, a regular brown poop is a-ok.
But we all know that not every day is a brown day. Most varieties in color are due to changing the foods and medications in your diet. Some of these changes are your body acclimating and should eventually revert back to classic brown. However, changes in poo color over long periods of time can be a sign of gastrointestinal disorder.
For example, green poo could mean you've started incorporating more greens into your diet (which is awesome will defiantly help you lose weight). But a long-term dose of green monsters in your toilet bowl can be a sign of gastrointestinal infection. (dun, dun, dun)
If your poo is yellow it means your body is not metabolizing fat. It could mean there's is a disease or malfunction in the 3 organs that help metabolize fat which are the pancreas, liver and gall bladder.
Red stool is most worrisome as it indicates bleeding in the lower GI tract from conditions like hemorrhoids or diverticulosis, or more serious conditions like rectal cancer. But before you panic recall if you've been eating foods with red food coloring or red beets which lead to temporary red poops.
If your poo is this color — you need to pause this video (come back to it later and call your doctor)
So that is a bit of crap about your poop. Next time, before you flush, give it a gander and check out it's color and anything other then brown means it's time for further investigation.
